''I really like looking at ancient pieces of adornment for inspiration — the first forms of jewelry and its use of primary forms'' says New York based artist Hanna Sandin.

and yes, you are right- it is time for a jewelry talk again! this time i want to introcuse to you a brand call SAMMA. I heard about it when my friend mentioned it to me, so i had to check it out and (surprise-surprise) i liked it a lot. sharing is caring so, take a look and enjoy these geometrical shapes - elemental lines and simplified forms.
SAMMA, which means same in swedish, is a brand what offers jewelry with an air of simplicity, roughness, and depth. it explores forms as standards and it is perhaps connected with designer's sculpture background.

it's handmade, it's non-precious materials & it's original.
result of each piece being handmade, adds nuance, warmth, and tactility. also, the fact that these pieces are made from base metals- without planting, makes it really raw.

I personally find that i's very inspiring, because designer Hanna Sandin has never studied jewelry design and started with it just out of her passion. as she mentioned in a interview to nymag due to that it usually ends up being that she has a lot of weird solutions that people in the jewelry district look at and think, "okay! I don’t know where you get these ideas, but okay!"

enjoy
